Conference Theme 2008

This year we’re focusing on how partnership working will be key to successfully achieving the vision of the NHS in Wales - the coming together of hands and minds with common practices and a single goal.

The NHS in Wales in undergoing significant change in the way it delivers patient care with the ultimate aim of providing excellence in all it’s services, providing a better patient experience, mobilising better qualified, elite consultants and doctors and pioneering new practices/research. This will provide some real challenges to HR professional across the NHS, and will only be realised with the help of managers and Trade Unions working together.

Venue

The 2008 Welsh Branch Conference will be held on Tuesday 17 June at City Hall. Cardiff.

Conference Exhibiting

The HPMA (Wales) Conference 2008 is expected to attract over 120 delegates bringing together professionals in Human Resources, Personnel, Allied Healthcare and Operational Development within the healthcare sector from throughout Wales and neighbouring counties in England.

The Exhibition will be a core part of the Conference, providing delegates with the opportunity to gather information, meet existing suppliers whilst providing a great platform for networking to key decision makers within the healthcare sector. The Exhibition will be held at City Hall in Cardiff and will provide an attractive and central venue to demonstrate products and services.

Delegates will be encouraged to visit the exhibitors during the planned morning coffee and lunch breaks.
